A billion dollar service sector organization
suffered a credit card data security breach and was in the midst of forensics and remediation. In addition to fines and penalties, the merchant was given a fixed time frame by the Card Associations to remedy the security vulnerabilities and achieve PCI Compliance. The scale and complexity of their national operations presented significant obstacles to achieving compliance in the allotted time and they realized that completing it internally would not be an option.

Each division now maintains it’s own merchant account, user controls, reporting and reconciliation while the parent maintains aggregate reporting and maintenance privileges for the entire organization.
